In LOVE- Upgraded 2013 Prius to 2018 Prius 2
By Candy | on Saturday, April 10, 2021
I had a 2013 Prius and when it was time to trade, I opted for this remarkable car. There are so many driver amenities on the dash board. The car can nearly drive itself. I especially like the way the "radar driving" works. At first glance and the first driving experience I was taken with the interior styling and the WOW stamina of this car. Whenever I have guest in the car they remark about its comfort and smooth ride. I try not to brag too much about the amazing ZIP! It is a dream to drive at higher speeds and very easy not to notice (no engine rev noise) that you can easily exceed 100 mph without even noticing. The car is responsive and handles well. My husband hates the way big trucks seem to try to be intimidating on the highway. One day I was driving and he complained about a large truck that seemed to be riding our bumper. Just for fun, "I pushed the pedal to the metal", then told my husband to take a look behind us and see how the big cumbersome truck looked so "tiny" in the distance! i have consistantly gotten over 50 mpg and kept a running average of over 60 mpg when driving according to the book and adopting the habit of "coasting." I am observing all of the factory suggestions and getting its regular check ups. I have a business and need to load things often in the car. I have orderd a trailer hitch from Uhaul and am about to add towing a small trailer to my Prius 2's list of regular duties!… - 5.0
An Excellent Improvement
By Boothie | on Friday, June 10, 2016
I had a 2013 Prius that I replaced with this Four Touring. The handling and ride is much better. Because I purchased a more expensive model, the features are also better. Things that I really like: Blind Spot Monitoring (BSM), Dynamic Cruise Control, Lane Departure Alert, Better Rear Camera and Object Closeness Warnings... (It triggers each time I pull into the garage). Minor Plus: QI Charging for my Cell Phone. The MPG is much better than my prior Prius. When I drive to work, I usually got in the low 40's. Now I get in the low 50's. I like them moving the P/R/D stick. Negatives: I miss some of the storage that I used to have: 1) The Split Glove Box.; 2) The Storage Space under the Carpet in the Back. Overall, just a better car.… - 5.0
I highly recommend the new Prius from Toyota
By BoxerMan40 | on Saturday, March 13, 2021
This is the 5th Prius I've owned. I put on a lot of mileage, and this is the most comfortable Prius as of now. The car is an excellent highway cruiser, providing a steady comfortable ride, with enough room for 4 tall adults. Truck space is more than adequate. Power is adequate for passing and holding speed on hills. Fuel mileage is incredible, with 55 plus mpgs on the highway, and better than that in town or city driving, at times reaching over 80 mpgs. Reliability is 5 stars! I have never brought in any of my Priuses for warranty needs, except for one air-bag recall. I've always changed my oil at 5,000 miles, using the recommended full synthetic oil and correct weight. I highly recommend the Prius.…
